For all of my friends here, when you make statements about what YOU believe here, in opposition to this administration, remember that you have mastered and have access to tools that they do not.

Don't forget to use beauty to elevate the human spirit - to revel in the brilliant diversity of humanity. Don't forget that we are fighting FOR something, not just against things, and we can show what that world looks like. We can demonstrate why compassion and empathy and human dignity are not just powerful but sometimes so beautiful they can take your breath away.

The people in power right now have become so facile and effective at the tools of crassness, ugliness, brutality, and insult. But we have tools that they can't even imagine.

We have beauty.
